One of the biggest problems in our contemporary, ultra-technological world might be the EMP.

Simply explained, an EMP is an electromagnetic pulse that can destroy our electronic and electric devices. Nowadays, it can have a massive impact on our lives.

Why is EMP protection important?

As explained above, an EMP stands for electromagnetic pulse. It can bring a lot of harm to us in regard to the machinery and devices that we utilize.

It can also harm the economy, because most companies can not run without transformers or all of the electric tools needed for the business to operate.

In the case of an EMP, the world might stop the production of fossil fuels.

The good news is that you can run the 6.7 Cummins DPF Delete Engine using combustion with hydraulic oil, transmission oil, or even vegetable oils.

Can you delete a 6.7 Cummins without a tuner?

If you do not have a removal tuner and still wish to disable the system, you can follow the steps below.

Please keep in mind that, after these steps, you will certainly see the check engine light – this can be avoided by using a tuner, though.

First of all, unplug the EGR actuator valve that is located on top of the intake horn. This valve does not need to be plugged in again.

Secondly, you need to disable your butterfly airflow valve. You can do so by removing the gear assembly that controls the valve.

This is the recommended solution. Alternatively, you can disable the butterfly airflow valve by removing the two screws that keep the butterfly plate on the intake assembly.

As these screws are meant to remain in place, they will break frequently when you remove them. If you do so, you will check the electronic malfunction indicator that is represented by a red lightning bolt on your dash.

Wrapping up

If you have a truck from 2007-2018 that is equipped with a Dodge 6.7 Cummins, it’s important to remove the DPF, EGR, and DEF to protect your car.

This is true even if no fossil fuel is available anymore. This allows you to burn any combusting oils that might be available in a crisis.

You may also use software to make your car burn any combustible oil available if you prefer to use tuners.

Regardless of which option might be the right solution for you, this can be helpful if there is no fossil fuel available anymore.
